Metalsmithing, Introduction. In this class you will learn the basics of metalsmithing and take home a custom pendant necklace you create! For over 10 years Wes has been making jewelry out of silver plated vintage serving trays and other found/reclaimed objects.  What we’ll cover:
- Piercing (cutting) vintage metal plates with a jewelers saw
- Soldering the pieces together
- Finishing and polishing
- Add jump rings and a chain and you’ll have the coolest necklace on the block - and most importantly: you will have made it while learning a new skill!
Photo is suggested design for beginners but other designs are available. 
All materials provided; we’ll be cutting from vintage silver plated trays. Three hours. Adults and +13. All skill levels welcome. Free snacks and refreshments provided. $145. Instructor: Wes Cribb
